A selection of those who work with us, for us and our clients...

Just some examples of happy Clients:     Project: Interserve Construction Limited- Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen. South Wales.
Darren / Darran & Team Just a quick email to convey our thanks. This project has been particularly difficult. We have had to work in a tight environment fraught with challenging logistics, yet we’ve over come poor weather conditions, ground obstructions and the difficulties associated with working in a court yard that boarders sensitive areas of the hospital. We’d like to thank Formfix and note that both the staff and operatives were professional and hard working. Suggestions were made, which made activities easier, over time was worked when necessary. This was was most notable during the Christmas period where operatives should have been at home with family and loved ones. The teams engaged with the wider site team, lending a hand on more than one occasion to get difficult jobs done. Teams even opted to carry materials onto the site rather than wait for a Telehandler to deliver. No issues were observed with regard to safety and the workmanship was a good standard. We believe we have developed a good relationship and hope the dealing is reciprocated. We’d even like to note that we enjoyed the light hearted head bangs during our weekly day work discussions. To conclude we thank you for your efforts and hope you can convey to your operatives. We look forward to working with you again in the future. Kind regards Justin Humphreys Project Manager Interserve Construction Limited
Project: Lewis Civils Ltd Usk Spillway Refurbishment
To whom it may concern, My first introduction to “Formfix” (Darren, Darran & Gavin) in April 2017 was to tender a high risk/high profile scheme known as “Usk Spilllway”, having been successfully delivering an existing RC project with our existing client. The scheme itself was of a very complex nature, both technically and geographically thus, planning, co-ordination and working as a team was paramount for a successful delivery. The works contained the following key RC elements: • Fixing of 289t of 16mm diameter reinforcement • Placing of circa 1300m3 of C40/50 structural concrete • 0.300mm thick RC floor slabs, 15 No pours (working on a 1:3 slope) • Complete refurbishment of existing LHS & RHS spillway walls, ranging from 2.0m to 4.5m in height 28 No pours (straight and radius formwork) • Raising of existing “wave” wall & re-building of the rotated wave wall section • Demolition & reconstruction of existing “wing” wall • Demolition of existing vehicle/pedestrian bridge and reconstruct new bridge Works commenced September, 2017 & were completed May, 2018 to which Darran himself was on site on a weekly basis organising his workforce, calling off of reinforcement & attending weekly collaborative team meetings. Each concrete pour was maintained and delivered to LCE level of expectance, which is a credit to the contractor considering the adverse winter experienced and the complexity of the desired pours. The workforce was of a very approachable manner and For-Fix’s management structure was of a very proactive/we can do nature, which benefitted the scheme on numerous occasions when unknown challenges/elements arose. I personally cannot thank Darran and his team enough & most definitely was a key part of the site team with his wealth of knowledge; experience and understanding of RC works in making this project a success by delivering his associated works within the allocated budget and timescale.
